Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Acute Care, Adult Multispecialty, PRN Nights. Provides clinical direction for patient care in an acute inpatient setting, including nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care with an emphasis on evidence-based practice, safety, and quality improvement. Develops individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team; delegates tasks appropriately; ensures patient safety; coordinates discharge planning and referrals; maintains documentation and regulatory compliance; engages in ongoing professional development to maintain competency. May require weekend/holiday/on-call coverage per unit needs. Must maintain RN licensure and meet organizational training requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or nursing diploma with RN licensure
- Current RN license
- At least 1 year of RN experience (acute care)
- Ability to work Night shift and PRN as needed
- Knowledge of nursing process, patient safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements (TJC, SC DPH, CMS)
- Demonstrated ability to develop and revise patient care plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary team
