Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for Acute Care/4W Trauma at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Augusta. Day shift, Full Time (36 hours/week). Core duties include delivering quality nursing care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; maintaining documentation; patient advocacy and education; collaborating with the patient-care team; participating in performance improvement initiatives; maintaining licensure and certifications; mentoring and preceptorship; upholding confidentiality and safety; supporting shared governance; and contributing to a positive care environment. Requires Associate degree or Diploma in Nursing (or Bachelor's preferred) and current nursing licenses; BLS required. Sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
- BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor or BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
