Job Summary
Assess and monitor patients with complex behavioral and medical needs, administer medications and treatments safely, and develop individualized care plans promoting dignity and optimal outcomes. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care, educate patients and families regarding diagnoses and discharge needs, and evaluate patient outcomes to improve delivery. Perform and document comprehensive assessments while maintaining accurate clinical records. Work nights in the Brain Health Unit supporting patients with Alzheimer's and dementia, utilizing Cerner for documentation. Requires current Maryland RN license, one year of RN experience, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum of one (1) year of RN experience
- Current Maryland RN license or eligibility through a compact state license
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Desired Qualifications
- BSN
- Experience with Cerner or similar electronic medical record systems
