Job Summary
Assess and monitor patients with complex behavioral and medical needs, administering medications and treatments safely. Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans that promote dignity and optimal outcomes. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care, while educating patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge needs. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and evaluate patient outcomes to identify opportunities for improving care delivery. Work nights in the Brain Health Unit supporting patients with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other complex brain health conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum of one (1) year of RN experience
- Current Maryland RN license or eligibility through a compact state license
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Desired Qualifications
- BSN
- Experience with Cerner or similar electronic medical record systems
