Job Summary
Assess patients' physical and behavioral health needs, develop nursing care plans, and maintain medical records while educating families about conditions. Administer medications accurately, document controlled substance counts, and notify physicians of significant status changes such as detox difficulties or medical emergencies. Coordinate unit activities, ensure physicians' verbal orders are transcribed appropriately, and maintain therapeutic rapport with patients while observing professional boundaries. Complete admission and discharge processing efficiently and demonstrate knowledge of universal precautions. Full-time employment with flexible day and night shifts available (7pm-7am or 7am-7pm). Requires current RN license, one year of nursing experience, and CPR/de-escalation certification.
Required Qualifications
- Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing
- Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by the state of employment or be eligible to practice nursing in accordance with state requirements
- One year of nursing experience
- CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification

- previous psychiatric, mental, behavioral, or substance use nursing experience
