Registered Nurse (RN) - Abdominal Transplant - Nights

Job Summary
Plan and provide professional nursing care for transplant patients in the Abdominal Transplant unit, including diabetes management, pain management, wound care, telemetry, IV management, and blood product administration; educate patients and families, document assessments and plans of care, delegate tasks, participate in multidisciplinary rounds, and support ongoing professional development. Requires RN licensure in NC, BLS, and a BSN or higher (or ADN/diploma with BSN commitment within specified timelines); unit emphasizes teamwork, patient-focused care, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or higher) OR Associate's Degree in Nursing OR Nursing Diploma program
- Current registration with North Carolina State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse
- BLS Certification
- All registered nurses without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) will be required to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date and to complete the program within seven years of their start date
