Job Summary
Assess patients' physical and behavioral health needs and develop nursing care plans. Maintain medical records, educate families on conditions, and administer medications per state Nurse Practice Act regulations. Coordinate physician orders, document status changes regarding detox or emergencies, and ensure accurate controlled substance counts. Provide direct care while demonstrating universal precautions and maintaining therapeutic rapport with patients, visitors, and co-workers. Complete admission and discharge processing efficiently. Full-time positions offer $35–$45/hr plus an $8,000 sign-on bonus, while part-time roles are available on 12-hour shifts three days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing
- Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by the state of employment or be eligible to practice nursing in accordance with state requirements
- One year of nursing experience
- CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification
- First aid
