Job Summary
Conduct rounds to observe, assess, document, and report resident conditions while administering medications as prescribed. Oversee nursing aides and ensure care plans are implemented per individual plans of care. Perform narcotic reconciliation, initiate incident and accident reports, and discharge residents following facility policies. Must complete nursing assessments for physician calls before contacting physicians and communicate status updates to resident contacts. Requires an active Texas RN license and preferred skilled nursing facility experience.
Required Qualifications
- Has completed a RN program at an accredited vocational school, college, or university
- Must be an active Registered Nurse in the state of Texas in good standing
