Job Summary
Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans, monitoring conditions, assessing symptoms, and administering prescribed medications. Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants by assigning work, managing performance, and training new staff while ensuring compliance with facility standards. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support admissions, discharges, and transitions of care, and educate families on health conditions. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure a safe, clean environment for all residents. Requires an active RN license with long-term care experience; full-time or part-time 7p-7a shifts with every other weekend rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with an active, unencumbered state license
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatric nursing preferred
- Strong clinical skills
- Excellent communication
- Passion for patient-centered care
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to changing resident needs
- Every other weekend
