Job Summary
Assess patient status, determine priority of problems, and develop care plans for Progressive Care (step-down) patients. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to administer medications safely and evaluate treatment effectiveness. Serve as the point of contact for care coordination across hospital departments and act as a patient safety advocate for ongoing quality improvement. Requires 1 year of RN experience with a preference for acute care background. Scheduled for 24 weekly night shifts on weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- 1 year of RN experience
- ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support (required within 6 months of hire)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Nursing
- 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting
- BLS Basic Life Support
