Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) at 5C ICU in Sleepy Hollow, NY. Provides age-specific nursing care using the nursing process across assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Leads and coordinates patient care, collaborates with physicians and health-team members, ensures patient safety, administers medications, documents care, participates in discharge planning, and supports family education. Requires NY RN licensure with BSN preferred; CCRN and 5+ years ICU/critical care experience preferred, including neuro-ICU exposure.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing, required.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, preferred.
- Must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within two (2) years and obtain a BSN Degree within five (5) years of job entry date.
- Current License to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State, required.
- Specialized certifications, as needed. (CCRN) preferred.
