Job Summary
Registered Nurse role in trauma-acute care at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Augusta, GA. Full-time days (36 hours/week on 3/12s) with a $20,000 sign-on bonus. Provide quality nursing services as part of the patient care team: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; collaborate with and communicate care plans; ensure safe, effective care per policies; maintain documentation of assessments, changes, care delivered, and incidents; advocate for patients and families; participate in performance improvement initiatives; support Shared Governance; maintain licensure/certifications and pursue professional development; mentor/precept nursing staff and contribute to a positive work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
- BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor or BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
