Job Summary
Registered Nurse position in 4N Acute Care-Surgery at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center in Augusta. Responsible for providing quality nursing services, coordinating care with the patient care team, patient advocacy and education, documentation, and participation in performance improvement initiatives. Must maintain professional licensure/certifications (BLS required; RN license or multi-state compact). Requires strong collaboration, safety, confidentiality, and adherence to standards; supports shared governance and mentorship/preceptorship of others. 36 hours per week on Day shifts; includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus opportunity. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support
