Job Summary
Deliver safe, ethical, and evidence-based nursing care to an incarcerated population within scope of practice. Administer medications and treatments as ordered, monitor patient conditions, and report changes appropriately. Collaborate with medical, mental health, and custody teams to assess, identify, and respond to patients' medical, mental health, and psychosocial needs. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established safety, security, and infection control procedures while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing or Nursing Supervisor. Work a rotating night shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM) Monday through Friday with weekends rotating, earning $41–$46 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in nursing
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license within the state of Georgia
- Active MSL or Compact
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to obtain required security clearance
- Ability to pass drug screen
- Ability to pass background check
