Job Summary
Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach, supporting physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs while prioritizing resident independence. Perform all clinical duties per state nurse practice act, including monitoring clinical conditions, administering medications, maintaining infection prevention practices, and working alongside care associates for routine nursing care. Establish care goals, teach self-care skills, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop comprehensive holistic plans of care. Ensure documentation is current and accurate, participate in care conferences, and support resident preferences in electronic medical records. Requires 6 months RN experience, active license, and CPR certification. Schedule includes two weekdays and every other weekend from 3p-11p in a 103-acre continuing care retirement community.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months experience as an RN
- Active RN license in the state in which they will practice
- CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in caring for seniors or senior with cognitive impairment preferred
- Basic computer skills required including experience with Microsoft Office, internet and web applications
- Experience with an electronic medical record is preferred
