Job Summary
Provide physical and psych-social support to residents and families by developing relationships using a consistent caregiver approach. Perform clinical duties per state nurse practice act, including administering medications, maintaining infection prevention practices, and promoting resident independence through care goal establishment. Monitor clinical conditions to identify status changes, working alongside care associates for routine nursing care. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop holistic care plans, participate in care conferences, and ensure accurate, timely documentation in electronic medical records. Maintain an active RN license with at least 6 months of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months experience as an RN
- Active RN license in the state in which they will practice
- CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in caring for seniors or senior with cognitive impairment
- Basic computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office, internet and web applications
- Experience with an electronic medical record
