Job Summary
Assess and monitor medical concerns, provide routine and emergency nursing care, and complete required documentation for program participants. Collaborate with physicians and nurse practitioners, provide in-services to staff, and review incident reports. Certify and re-certify all AMAPs as needed and deliver on-call telephone coverage. Maintain quarterly and annual medical reviews and charts per program regulations. Requires a current NYS RN license, AAS or preferred BSN degree, and valid driver's license for travel. Monday through Friday schedule with paid training.
Required Qualifications
- AAS Degree in Nursing
- Current and valid NYS RN license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic Computer Skills (Windows, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel)
- Valid NYS Driver's License
- Travel
