Job Summary
Assess and monitor medical concerns for program participants while providing routine and emergency nursing care. Deliver nursing and medical in-services to staff at ICFs, IRAs, and Day Treatment facilities. Collaborate with physicians and nurse practitioners on medical issues, certify and re-certify AMAPs, and review incident reports. Complete required documentation and reports including quarterly and annual medical reviews. Provide on-call telephone coverage as needed. Requires current NYS RN license, AAS or preferred BSN in Nursing, and valid driver's license. Travel is required. Monday through Friday schedule available.
Required Qualifications
- AAS Degree in Nursing
- Current and valid NYS RN license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic Computer Skills (Windows, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Word, Excel)
- Valid NYS Driver's License
