Job Summary
Provide physical, psychological, sociocultural, and spiritual care to patients and families on medical and specialty units including stroke, telemetry, and complex wound care. Manage ventilator support, weaning, and LVAD populations while utilizing the nursing process to address educational and discharge needs. Average length of stay is 25-30 days with rotating weekend and holiday shifts. Join a CARF accredited environment featuring a shared governance model, RN residency program, and clinical ladder.
Required Qualifications
- RN Diploma or ASN
- Current CT RN license
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS certification
- 32 Hours/Week
- Evening Shift (3:00 pm-11:30 pm)
- Rotating weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- BSN or Bachelor's degree in a healthcare related field
