Job Summary
Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions while delivering care plans that promote short- and long-term outcomes. Collaborate with the care team to coordinate daily patient flow, prioritize actions based on patient needs, and maintain accurate documentation of assessments and care changes. Serve as an educational resource for patients and families, listening to concerns and responding appropriately to ensure satisfaction. Participate in performance improvement initiatives, maintain professional licenses and certifications, and foster the growth of other nurses through mentorship. Work full-time night shifts (36 hours per week) at Wellstar MCG Health Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor or BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- Full Time Nights
- 36 Hours per week (3/12s)
- Maintains professional licenses and certifications
- Completes all required training
- Is involved in professional organizations
- Keeps current with research literature and industry best practices
- All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated
