Job Summary
Provide holistic nursing care to patients in a correctional setting, assessing physical, psychological, and social dimensions while obtaining health histories. Document and communicate triage decisions during custody and upon discharge, and develop individual nursing care plans using established protocols. Implement medical care plans including diagnostic tests and EKGs, administer medications via approved routes, and assist physicians in medical or minor surgical procedures. This role requires a current state RN license, CPR certificate, and proficiency with electronic medical records. Shifts are 7a-3p, 2x8s, part-time weekends. Required Qualifications
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Current CPR certificate
- Proficient with electronic medical records
- Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include background check and drug screen
