Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) for 2West/Inpatient Surgery at Dolly Parton Children’s Hospital. Manages individualized nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles, documents data, develops and follows care plans, and coordinates care with family while promoting a safe environment. Leads in practice, collaborates with family, integrates research into practice, and maintains current knowledge and competency in nursing. Requires Tennessee nursing licensure and a nursing degree (Bachelors or Associates). Pediatric-focused responsibilities include data collection, diagnosis formulation, outcome planning, and evaluating care delivery. Heavy lifting and frequent movement described in the role, with emphasis on compassionate, team-oriented patient care and adherence to core values of Compassion, Ownership, Respect, and Excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing Licensure for State of Tennessee
- Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing
- Pediatric nursing experience preferred
