Job Summary
Deliver, direct, and supervise patient care to admitted units while utilizing the nursing process. Plan interdisciplinary care, coordinate discharge planning, and provide patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization. Access community resources as assigned, including Charge Nurse duties requiring ACLS certification. Work under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse. Requires current RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS certifications (AHA approved). 13-week assignment at $60/hr with flexible scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates
- Current BLS certification
- AHA approved BLS certification
- AHA approved ACLS certification within 90 days of employment
- ACLS certification within 90 days of employment
- ACLS certification for Charge Nurses
Desired Qualifications
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience
