Job Summary
The role of Registered Nurse (RN) in the 10E Medicine Stepdown/Floor requires authority and responsibility for delivering nursing care using the nursing process, applying clinical knowledge, and independent nursing judgment to achieve quality patient outcomes. The RN must demonstrate novice-level skills relevant to patient care, assess and interpret patient data, and provide education based on individual patient needs. Responsibilities include creating care plans, documenting patient assessments, and ensuring safety during care delivery. The position entails working with complex patient cases and requires a commitment to lifelong learning and adherence to the ANA's code of ethics.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state
- Obtain certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date
- Less than 12 months of experience as a registered nurse
