Job Summary
Perform a variety of treatments including wound care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes, and peritoneal dialysis. Administer medications as prescribed and advise patients and families regarding treatment changes and patient conditions. Provide preventative and supportive care for physiologic and psychosocial well-being while promoting hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions. Oversee the Nurse Aide team by giving direction, assignments, training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations. Work nights in a skilled nursing team providing specialized care across orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology, and dermatology.
Required Qualifications
- A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Michigan
- Current CPR-BLS certification
- An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher
