Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) position in Independence, MO for full-time daytime or nighttime shifts at Carmel Hills Wellness & Rehabilitation. Responsibilities include assessing resident needs and developing individualized care plans, administering medications and treatments per physician orders, monitoring and communicating changes to the team, providing leadership to nursing assistants, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, collaborating with therapists and physicians, ensuring compliance with state/federal regulations, and promoting a safe, compassionate environment for residents. Requires Missouri RN license and graduation from an accredited RN program; BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain; experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or post-acute care preferred but not required; new graduates encouraged to apply.
