Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse, you will oversee and support the delivery of high-quality health care services for youth and staff within a secure residential program. Responsibilities include providing direct nursing care, coordinating medical services, mentoring nursing team members, administering medications, conducting health assessments, managing treatment plans, and coordinating appointments. You will also provide health education and maintain accurate medical records. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related health care field and current RN licensure in Alabama, with a minimum of 2 years of medical administration experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related health care field
- Current RN licensure in the state of Alabama
- Minimum of 2 years of previous medical services administration
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Able to pass criminal background check, drug test, physical, and TB test
- Able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
- Meet requirements to be an eligible driver and have an active Driver’s License
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with adolescent health care
- Knowledge of medication management
- Ability to coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
