Job Summary
Assess patients and collect health data involving patients, families, and other healthcare providers. Coordinate patient care plans to ensure interventions are consistent, safe, timely, and appropriate. Communicate clearly with all stakeholders in person, by phone, and in writing. Individualize patient and family teaching based on thorough assessments. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness. Maintain professional knowledge of current nursing standards and regulations. This per diem Level 1 role requires a minimum 48-hour commitment every six weeks, including weekend hours, with a schedule from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm. Candidates must hold an Associate's or BSN degree, Illinois licensure, and current CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
- Must be able to work at least 48 hours every 6 weeks
- Must be able to work 24 hours of weekend time
