Job Summary
Assess patients and collect health data while coordinating care plans to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate. Communicate clearly with patients, families, and healthcare providers, and individualize teaching based on specific learning needs. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice effectiveness and maintain knowledge of current standards, laws, and regulations. Requires an Associate's degree or BSN, Illinois licensure, and current CPR certification. Must commit to at least 48 hours every 6 weeks, including 24 hours of weekend time, with shifts running from 7:00am to 7:30pm.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
- Must be able to work at least 48 hours every 6 weeks
- Must be able to work 24 hours of weekend time
