Job Summary
Assess patients and collect health data while coordinating care plans to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate. Provide individualized teaching based on thorough assessments and communicate effectively with patients, families, and providers. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice standards and maintain current knowledge of laws and regulations. Requires an Associate's or BSN degree, Illinois licensure, and CPR certification. Per diem Level 1 status with a 48-hour every 6-week commitment including weekend hours. Endeavor Health serves over 4.2 million residents across six northeast Illinois counties through eight acute care hospitals.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
- Must be able to work at least 48 hours every 6 weeks
- Must be able to work 24 hours of weekend time
