Job Summary
Provide patient assessment and collect health data involving patients, families, and healthcare providers. Coordinate patient plans of care to ensure interventions are consistent, safe, timely, and appropriate. Communicate clearly with all customers in person, on the phone, and in writing. Individualize patient and family teaching based on thorough assessments to meet specific learning needs. Participate in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice through quality improvement initiatives. Maintain professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws, and regulations. Work 7:00pm to 7:30am shifts as a per diem Level 1 resource nurse, requiring a minimum commitment of 48 hours every 6 weeks including weekend coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing
- Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association
- Must be able to work at least 48 hours every 6 weeks
- Must be able to work 24 hours of weekend time
