Job Summary
Deliver safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care across inpatient units by performing comprehensive patient assessments, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. Adapt quickly to varying patient populations and acuity levels while maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards. Educate patients and families to promote recovery and safe transitions of care. Coverage includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays with a 10% float differential applied to all hours worked. Current RN license and at least one year of experience required; BLS certification mandatory. BSN degree verified as of April 27, 2025.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of practice
- Compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of start
- Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse experience
- Willingness and ability to float across multiple units at St. Vincent Hospital
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution (degree verified)

- Strong adaptability, critical‐thinking, and communication skills
- Experience in Medical‐Surgical nursing and/or multiple clinical areas
- Interest in professional development and cross‐training into specialty units
