Job Summary
Registered Nurse responsible for administering and supervising medication administration and participation in the plan of care for clients of residential units. Responds to clients’ health needs, makes referrals and assessments as necessary; performs wound care and nursing assessments; documents findings; participates in treatment planning; provides health education to clients and staff; orients and trains new staff; participates in meetings; assists Monarch PRTF staff with health care decisions; transcribes MARs, counts narcotics, and manages medications and lab results; supports quality improvement and maintains clinical records in compliance with licensing and accreditation standards.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Licensure: Valid Ohio Registered Nurse license required.
- Experience: Experience working with children and adolescents required; Previous experience in pediatric autism, special needs, and psych preferred.
- Skills: Ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.
