Registered Nurse Resident (RN)-Acute Care, Medical/Surgical, FT, Night

Provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting, fostering patient/family centered care using evidence-based practices. Conduct assessments, develop individual plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, and validate goals with patients and families. Deliver direct care consistent with the South Carolina Nurse Practice Act while monitoring quality, performing audits, and implementing cost containment principles. Manage patient safety, delegate tasks appropriately, and provide discharge planning to ensure continuity of care. Work night shifts at Blount Memorial Hospital, adhering to all compliance policies, infection control protocols, and regulatory agency requirements including TJC and CMS standards.
