Registered Nurse Resident (RN)-Acute Care, Medical/Surgical, FT, Night

Provide clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient setting, fostering patient/family centered care. Conduct assessments, develop individual plans of care, and identify priorities based on nursing assessment and patient response to intervention. Deliver direct care to assigned patients consistent with the established nursing plan while monitoring quality and effectiveness. Coordinate tasks, delegate appropriate nursing tasks, and communicate changes in the plan to the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Evaluate opportunities for quality improvement and incorporate performance improvement recommendations into the plan of care. This role requires a night shift at Blount Memorial Hospital. Candidates must hold a current RN license and possess an Associate degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), with one year of experience or successful completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program.
