Job Summary
Conduct individualized nursing care for residents using the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes planning, implementation, and evaluation. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, providers, families, and residents to plan and coordinate care across preventative, health maintenance, diagnostic, and treatment phases. Serve as charge nurse when assigned, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within their scope of competence. Maintain competency within the full scope of nursing practice per the Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association standards. Requires unencumbered RN license, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. Night shift rotation with 12-hour shifts; full-time schedule with sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Good Samaritan has a Drug Free Workplace Policy
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
