Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement treatment plans for seniors in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, and diagnosis. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, residents, and families to evaluate outcomes and ensure safe administration of care. May serve as charge nurse, delegating tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within the scope of their competence. Requires an unencumbered RN license and a Bachelor's degree preferred. Night shifts include 12-hour rotations with a $10,000 sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
