Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement preventative measures and treatments for seniors. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families to plan and evaluate care plans while serving as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel. Ensure safe administration of resident care and resolve service concerns within state practice standards and the Nurse Practice Act. Requires an unencumbered RN license, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. Night shift rotation includes 12-hour shifts with a $10,000 sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
