Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care, coordinate resident assessments, and implement health maintenance and treatment plans for seniors. Collaborate with interdisciplinary colleagues, families, and providers to evaluate care outcomes and ensure safe administration of interventions. Serve as charge nurse to delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within their scope of competence and the Nurse Practice Act. Maintain competency in age-specific standards and demonstrate adherence to the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics.
Required Qualifications
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
Desired Qualifications
- Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred, including, but not limited to, Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
