Job Summary
Conduct a 52-week residency program featuring classroom didactics, skill labs, simulation labs, and a two-week critical care course. Transition to full-time clinical settings with preceptors after 16 weeks, including a two-week rotation with The emergency Department Critical Care nurse. Obtain ACLS, PALS, Trauma nursing certification, and earn 8 CEUs of Stroke and 4 CEUs of Trauma during the year-long curriculum. Maintain an overall GPA of 3.3 and Nursing GPA of 3.5 as a new BSN graduate. Participate in seminars and Essential Critical Care Orientation Class. Apply through ED leadership, ED staff, and Human resources. Earn $54.48 to $74.72 per hour.
