Job Summary
Registered Nurse - Renal Dialysis at AdventHealth Altamonte Springs with float to Minneola and Apopka. Provides acute nursing care for dialysis patients, including rinsing/primes/positions of dialysis equipment, preparation of dialysate, calibration of alarms, monitoring, and completing patient assessments prior to treatment. Administers medications, blood and blood products as ordered, and monitors blood pressure, weights, access patency, lab values, dialysate composition, and fluid flows. Requires ASN, Florida nursing licensure, 1 year RN experience, BLS and ACLS; preferred CDN and dialysis nursing experience; 3 twelve-hour shifts per week with on-call night coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Associate of Science degree in Nursing
- Current State of Florida or Multistate licensure as a Registered Nurse
- One year experience as a Registered Nurse
- BLS
- ACLS
