Job Summary
Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care that supports patient safety, comfort, and positive health outcomes in the Renal Diabetes department. Develop and manage individualized care plans while monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment to meet changing needs. Communicate patient updates clearly with physicians and the care team to ensure timely decisions and seamless care delivery. Coordinate care across disciplines by bringing together providers, therapists, and support staff to create an effective patient experience. Guide discharge planning to help patients and families transition safely from the hospital to home or the next level of care. Full-time night shift at Saint Thomas West in Nashville, TN.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
