Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, wound care, and skilled nursing procedures. Assist with activities of daily living, supervise nursing assistants, and monitor physical and emotional status to notify physicians of changes. Develop individualized care plans, complete clinical documentation, and coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharges. Participate in quality assurance activities, staff education, and regulatory surveys. Requires current active RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and minimum one year of clinical nursing experience. Located in Terre Haute, IN, with up to $47.00/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum one (1) year of clinical nursing experience
- Strong clinical observation, medication administration, and documentation skills
- Knowledge of Federal and State long-term care regulations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and exercise sound clinical judgment
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Relocate to Terre Haute, IN
Desired Qualifications
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
- Long-term care experience
