Job Summary
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care in a Rehab Hospital setting. Responsible for professional accountability in patient care for assigned patients, evaluating care effectiveness of other direct care givers, coordinating patient care with other departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and adhering to Mercy Service Standards. This is a full-time night shift position in a rehabilitation hospital, requiring protracted standing and walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and possession of appropriate nursing licensure and credentials.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Licensure: Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ACLS (if required by position/unit)
- NRP (if required by position/unit)
- ENPC (if required by position/unit)
- TNCC (if required by position/unit)
- CPHON (if required by position/unit)
- OCN (if required by position/unit)
- PALS (if required by position/unit)
- PEARS (if required by position/unit)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. (if required by position/unit)
- C-EFM (if required by position/unit)
- Other unit-specific certifications as required
