The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating nursing and other services for residents within the neighbourhood, leading shift reports, and ensuring documentation aligns with AgeCare policies and applicable regulations. Responsibilities include communicating changes in residents’ condition, reviewing and processing physician orders, and maintaining a safe, ethical, and high-quality care environment. The role requires a solid geriatric/long-term care nursing background, activation of care plans, and collaboration with the health care team. Must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and be registered in good standing with the provincial registry; knowledge of applicable acts and regulations (e.g., Health Disciplines Act, provincial nursing standards) is required.
