Job Summary
Conduct clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient recovery room setting, fostering patient/family centered care. Perform nursing assessments, develop individual plans of care, and validate priorities with the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Provide direct patient care, delegate tasks appropriately, and monitor quality while ensuring adherence to safety protocols, infection control, and regulatory agency requirements. Coordinate discharge planning and patient education, utilizing performance indicators to evaluate care effectiveness and complete assigned quality improvement audits. Work variable shifts including weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing
- One (1) year experience as a registered nurse
- Holds a current RN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State or is licensed to practice as a RN in the state the team member is working
- The acute inpatient setting may require staff to be scheduled for a weekend, holiday, and on-call work
