REGISTERED NURSE, Recovery Room - Per Diem

Provide direct patient care to infants through geriatric populations in the OR arena, addressing psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of surgical care. Communicate continuously with surgeons and anesthesiologists regarding patient conditions. Monitor, position, and assist patients during procedures while assessing and maintaining surgical equipment and pain management inventory. Perform head-to-toe pre-procedure assessments and reassess post-procedure as needed, formulating individualized care plans and evaluating their effectiveness. Utilize appropriate pain management techniques and educate patients and families on pain control. Demonstrate supportive behaviors for bedside reports using IMAP and SBAR. This per diem opportunity offers a convenient schedule at Northern Nevada Medical Center, a 124-bed acute care facility.
