Job Summary
RN position oversees medical, psychiatric, and nursing care for individuals served in a behavioral health/crisis setting; serves as clinical liaison until enrollment in services at another facility. Responsibilities include coordinating services with public/private health, mental health, and social service agencies; assisting with service planning processes; conducting assessments and treatment plans; providing individual and family counseling; contributing to educational curriculum; supervising and/or providing nursing care (e.g., diabetes, blood pressure monitoring); responding to crisis calls; coordinating outside medical/nursing support (pharmacy, laboratories); administering medications per protocol; maintaining clinical documentation; ensuring compliance with federal/state regulations and organizational policies; collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to improve productivity and outcomes; performing other related duties. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse
- State-specific RN license
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a behavioral health setting
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
