Job Summary
The Registered Nurse oversees medical, psychiatric, substance abuse and nursing care for individuals served and acts as clinical liaison until enrollment at another community facility. Coordinates services with public and private health, mental health and social service agencies; conducts assessments and treatment plans; provides individual and family counseling; contributes to educational curriculum; supervises/provides nursing treatment and monitoring (e.g., diabetes, blood pressure); responds to crisis calls; coordinates external medical and nursing support services; administers medications per protocol; ensures clinical documentation and compliance with regulations; collaborates with interdisciplinary team to improve productivity and recovery outcomes; travel may be required; strong communication, documentation, and de-escalation skills; background checks and credentialing processes required. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse
- Valid and current state-specific Nursing license
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health setting
