Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide quality, age-appropriate nursing care to patients consistent with organizational philosophy, goals, and policies. Maintain a current New York State Registered Nurse License and Basic Life Support certification while performing duties at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in the RCU department. This role requires at least one year of hospital medical-surgical nursing experience and involves significant physical effort, including exerting up to 50 lbs of force, with exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and human waste. Work is scheduled for PD days only.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN
- at least one year of hospital medical-surgical nursing experience
- Current New York State Registered Nurse License
- BLS
